Borderland Co-op has recently completed its new Administrative Office on Carleton Street in Moosomin.
The 2-story 9600 square foot building was necessary to accommodate the substantial growth Borderland has seen in the area over the past 14 years.
"Our business has more than quadrupled in those 14 years" explains Jason Schenn, Borderland’s CEO. "To service this expansion our Administrative staff has grown from 3 to 15 employees over this period. This new building will accommodate that expansion, with capacity for further planned growth."
Borderland serves approximately 7,500 members from Moosomin to Whitewood, and Rocanville to Maryfield. This market has been very good for Borderland, explains Jason. The area is vibrant, growing and enjoys a diversified economy.
