Public notice is hereby given under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 that the Council of the Town of Moosomin intends to adopt Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2021-02 (OCP), and Zoning Bylaw No. 2021-03, which will replace existing Zoning Bylaw No. 849, and all amendments thereto.
The proposed OCP and Zoning Bylaw will establish a policy and regulatory framework for guiding land use as well as the future physical, economic, environmental, social, and cultural development in the municipality. The purpose of the new bylaws is to comply with Provincial legislation and to ensure future development is in alignment with Town goals and priorities.

The bylaws and associated maps are posted online on the Town website or may be viewed in person at the Town office during regular office hours Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Council will hold a public hearing on the evening of Wednesday, October 13th at 7pm at the Town Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaws. Please contact the Town Office to make arrangements to call into the meeting if you are not able to appear in person. Council will also consider written comments that are received before the hearing sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
